missingWrote a review on Nov 26poor wi-fi
Wi-fi in the room barely scratched the surface, making it frustrating for anyone needing a reliable connection. The road leading into the farm could serve as an obstacle course. it’s a single track riddled with potholes. For those with mobility issues, navigating to the bathroom downstairs during the night adds another layer of inconvenience, though guests should be aware of this prior to arrival.

The peaceful surroundings provided a perfect escape, enhanced by the hostess's thoughtful gestures like fresh home baked bread. The comfortable bed and splendidly clean bathroom were highlights of my stay.

The stay at Gooseford Farm was a delight! The host went above and beyond, presenting a well-equipped continental breakfast every morning with fresh bread and milk. Coming back to a clean, modern shower felt refreshing after a long day. The bed in the Single Room with Private Bathroom was incredibly comfortable, making sleep easy. The surroundings were tranquil, set in the beautiful countryside, perfect for unwinding. Although one neighbor on the first evening kept speaking loudly on her mobile phone, it didn't overshadow my experience. I could easily recommend this place to anyone. I’d come back without hesitation.

Wi-fi in the room was notably weak, which could frustrate anyone needing to stay connected. Getting to the place is a bit of a challenge. that single track farm road is not only potholed but requires some caution while driving. the layout could pose a minor inconvenience—guests needing to navigate to the bathroom downstairs at night may find it a bit tricky. It's also worth mentioning that the road can feel a bit daunting with the uneven surface. these factors put a slight dent in the experience, but they were manageable given the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

Our group had a fantastic time at this charming place! Mary, our host, was super helpful, especially when we needed a lift to a local pub and shared great walking routes. The surroundings were perfect for winding down, and we loved the delicious breakfast. Definitely recommend a stay here!
One downside was the limited hot water for showers during our stay, which made it a bit challenging for all of us to freshen up in the morning.

It was just a suitable option for a two-day stay in Okehampton with decent value for money. The showers were clean and refreshing after a long day. Prepare for uneven roads leading to the place.
